I made this quilt for my stepdad, Alex, for his birthday. It was designed to match the
living room and to highlight the piece of turquoise hanging above the fireplace. This quilt
is actually a duvet cover that 'hides' his favorite red and white striped TV-watching-electric blanket.
The electric blanket clashed with the living room, which drove my mom bonkers...but Alex wasn't
about to give it up! So, quilted cover & tada, everyone's happy.
